    What do hummingbirds do in winter?

    They go south. Migration is over . Started mid august , I have not seen any for three weeks at my feeder. Had about 12 fighting over feeder in october. Sure is fun to watch

    I love to watch hummingbirds, too. It is a real treat when one actually lands for a moment and the feathers change colors in the sunlight. There are always a few that stick around here year-round. It gets cold and foggy here. BRR.

    I love hummingbirds! If I don't get my feeder up in spring on time I will see one or two going to where the feeder is supposed to be. It's just amazing they know where the food was the previous year!
