Where is the elderly abuse taking place and what kind of abuse is it? If in their own private home, call the police.

Gran's not being abused @ home, she's called away and made to spend her money, do adult daughter's dirty laundry, she takes her car for days at a time. Keeps her out all day and she needs to take meds/eat, she (Gran) is a diabetic
Unless it can be proven that she is being forced against her will to do these things or that she is not of sound mind, it will not be considered abuse. Have you checked with other family members to see if they will get involved to stop her daughter from using her?
