    how can i get rid of a hacker who is still using my identity on facebook and hotmail

    my identity was taken on wednesday 27th of sept 11.   i wonder if they have accessed my phone number too

      1. Make sure your firewall is on.


      2. Run an anti-spyware scan and remove anything found.


      3. Change all of your passwords. Make them strong by making them a combo of uppercase and lowercase letters, numbers, symbols and punctuation marks. A minimum of 8 characters, the longer the better. Change your password at least once a month.


      4. With your security question, make it very hard or make the answer non-related to the question, just write the answer down so you won't forget it.
