      It's also a test to see if you are taking his prescribe medicine. If it doesn't show up in your system or if you have too much in your system ... he will know.

        Could it be to find out if you (or whomever) are also taking other drugs...street or prescription.  Have all of the doctor's questions been answered truthfully?
