Credit history can be poor, but perhaps you have established good payments with a prior landlord who can vouche for you. Are you making regular payments to a " private " company, such as a used car lot or have any other credit history that would be good, but not reflected in your credit score ? Also, you could offer a larger deposit, if you could afford to.
