Because my old body can't take the rigor of prolonged "wax-on wax-off" motion ... but the car finish needs protecting.:o)

It isn't if it's done properly & the best place for that is a good beauty salon. If you do it yourself don't try to peel the strips, rip them and have any skin lotion ready to smooth on... I know... still OUCH, but try distraction... listen to music... have chocolate handy, if you like chocolate. The more waxing is done the less the hairs grow... but don't wax when they are too short. You'll miss half of them and have to go throught the whole thing more often. Wear jeans & tee-shirts to cover up for a few days if you can and do a proper job.
