      Having no squared edges, the circle has infinite number of sides so the answer is infinite. 


      Or a circle can have two sides, inner and outer.

          the simple answer is it has no sides but the theory of calculus it has an infinite and finite sides. my opinion would be that there is really no natural way of saying what the side of a circle is.
