      Use peanut butter. My friends daughter had gum in her hair and this is what she used. Put a dab of pb in her hair and massage it with your fingers. It will take about 10 minutes of constant massaging to work it out of the hair.

        Country Bumpkin. It's me! "Where'd you come from Country Bumpkin?" Using peanut butter to get gum out of hair? "Unhaird of!" I can't even get it removed from the roof of my mouth...or my dog's (lol)!

              PEANUT BUTTER... Use a bunch.. the oils from it will seperate it from your hair... It is magical

                OIL, vegetable oil will allow it to slide off the hair strands. Use a large tooth comb to work it out.

                  Eucalyptus oil rubbed into the gum will soften it.

                    wd 40. sounds stupid. ive used it to get gum and sticky things off other materials. believe its the oil.

                      I wouldn't want WD40 in MY hair but I do know that, as the others have stated, peanut butter works.

                      try using hair dryer. the heat will melt the gum.

                        take a shower and use a hair dryer the water will wet the gum and make it soft and the dryer wil dry the gum so it can fall off their hair.

                          Sorry but you are wrong. That will make it worse! The water does nothing and the dryer makes it stickier!
