a magnet is like the earthit has many layers plus a core
one of the layeers has 0.0000001 grams of raidioactive led in so if you cut a magnet open you will see what i mean..
all the other layers are diffrent types of metals but the one in the center is the one that attracts on one side but not on the other ok:_)
