Not better than we see in the dark now. For we need the sensory down-time for replenishing and upgrading the capacities of our brains without significant external input. So our species traded reduced nocturnal self-protection for much ,more flexible, rapidly adaptive & resilient awareness & response capabilities. Perhaps Yeti species remnants represent what we'd be if the nocturnal omnivision had been more adaptive.
