And that's also link not to say there's no historical justification for the sizing: The large Tank link Americaine is about the size of a large vintage Tank Cintree, and the small version is about the same size as the mid-sized vintage model. If the Americaine is supposed to reference link the vintage Cintree, it seems Cartier's getting literal with its sizing too, and I can't knock it too much for that.

On the link flip side of that though these watches will most likely be purchased predominately for or by women and it's cool to see AP invest in putting mechanical movements in these pieces. More and more women are getting into the watch world and link hopefully link the days of brands throwing quartz movements in diamond-covered watches and calling it a day are behind us.
