I live in lower Michigan and also feed birds all winter. The cardinals are here They look beautiful against the white snow. I'd say they stay in Ohio all year

No,they stay right here in wonderful Ohio all year round,even tho their life span is'nt very long,two or three years maybe.When you see one,you can rest asure that their mate is nearby.

How far south do they fly before they are flying north?? :)

Cardinals are year round birds in New England. They are on Christmas cards because they are a pretty bird that is around during winter. 

If they loose the Series they'll have to walk.

Wow!  Things have changed in Ohio since I lived there, back then the fly was the state bird.  :)
