    Is it unusual to get your period after starting menopause

    I am 49 years old and hadn't had my period since June, it is now October and I just got my period.  I thought I had started menopause.  Is this unusual?

    You can have periods at any time during menopause. Only after menopause is completed then you should no longer bleed.
