What does the word Facebook mean? It's the name of a social network. It's named this way because originally it was a website filled with pictures hacked from Harvard universities Facebook's, filled with pictures of the students in 9 different campus houses. Eventually after a few changes it became theFacebook (because of the college facebooks that were hacked into) and then just Facebook.
