      Are you talking about a mutual exchange with the Department of Housing ?If so,no you can't,even if you had 2 sons,you wouldn't have been given a 3 bedroom property as 2 boys can share a room.Having a daughter and a son,you would be elidgable for 3 bedrooms.This is what applies in Australia.
