    What is the most interesting thing you have learned about an ancestor?

    There is not much to tell about the ancestors I have researched... One had owned Slaves and they were all named Henry.... 8 of them....  Thought that was a little odd. But I was pleased to find out that they lived in the attic of the house and went to church with him. They had 25 acres to farm for thier own gain.  After the amancepation they stayed on the farm. HE gave them the 25 acers to build on.  I dont know if they did. The Farm house and all of the surronding buildings were desroyed in a hurrician in the 1800's But the land records are still available.
