      An old friend of mine has a peanut farm in Voca, Texas and according to this article, Texas is the second  biggest peanut producers in the USA.

          Roasted, salted, in the Shell, served in buckets at the table at Logan's Roadhouse....shells go on the floor. Dry roasted, honey crunch, spicy....but never boiled.

            Yes they're good if you get them fresh, A gal brought some in to work, I think she got them from Walmart. They were canned and  tasted like dirt.

                I think it is a alabama GA tenn thing... I remember living in NH growing up.. MOm would have ppl send her bags of green peanuts to boil... No one had ever heard of them.... But around here the community flockes to the peanut shacks every year about this time get thier bioled peanuts... They are really good.. .But give me a head ache. But I just cant say no.
