Quesada showed up, saw this guitar hanging on link the wall, and took it with him. Only the ES446 was not meant to be a loaner link due to its rarity and Gibson called to let Quesada know. "At that point, I was in love with it and I asked if I could just buy it," he says. "They kind of pushed back at first. Then a year or two went by and I again asked if I could buy it. I couldn't imagine giving link it back, and they finally let me keep it."
