Double check tha the line outs on the VCR are connected to the proper line ins on the TV. Once verified the tv remote usually has a "game,auxillary" or similar option.Also the tv has to be on certain channels to be viewed(2,3,or4).If you have the owner's manual for the tv it is a good reference for this.
