      go to 'my computer' find e-reader (may be listed by name otherwise listed as mass storage device follwed by a letter (ie "e" or "f") ensure mass storage device is the e-reader by right clicking properties If properties does not list name of e-reader select the mass storage device with the highest letter .Newly added e-readers and smartphones are assigned higher order letters following 'mass storage device' when you right click you have the option if eject device, click this option
