    density is dependent on the atoms involved and the ambient gravity . specific material and gravity. wood does not have the density of lead because of the air in between ,,there could be a planet with so much material in it that is the size of a beach ball that would go through the earth due to it weight which is contingent upon its material ....stand at the bottom of a 200 foot bridge get joey smaltz from brooklyn to drop a beach ball....you catch it and it doesnt hurt ,,now joey the liar smaltz tells you hey dumb head catch this aluminun ball ,,he drops a lead ball on your head and your dead ,,,,lead much more dense than the air filled beach ball./ molecular attraction is involved but gets way out there dont worry about that ,,that is it own purple pony!
