All media outlets should and have a reasonability to tell the truth. However it is not being done.

Never let the truth get in the way of a good story is a well known saying in the journalist trade.

By rights ....YES.... they should tell the truth, but they will all use a little embroidery to sell papers.

The should print the truth, but it is not be done;  so we have a saying: "Don't believe all what is printed in the newspaper ".

I believe that saying has been around for some time, and "only half of what you see"

    Everybody has a different truth.

    It would work for me!""

If it isn't the truth, how can it be called news?
An editorial or feature article is opinion, often backed by fact, but opinion nonetheless.  Comics can be whatever.....they are generally for entertainment.

they would probably be a lot thinner

If the truth be known ... but who knows what the truth is?
