      I had 2 year old  42 inch HD TV. It lost it's sound. It cost me $70.000 to find out it would cost $700.00 for a new sound board. I threw it away and spent $800.00 on  a new TV.

        Good question! Actually, I'm amazed that you found somewhere that fixes TV's. Everything just seems to be throwaway instead of fixable.
