Make a list of the words that you want each passage or paragraph to center on. Some people create a "skeleton," when writing a story. They, then connect those points. It helps them to more easily guide the story where they are wanting to take it.

If you are writing about one main concept or theme, it might be easiest to look at the passages or paragraphs as facets of the bigger picture. Which, in essence, they actually are.
