    what do i do, lawyer says i cant claim banckruptcy

    i'm a teacher, over my head in debt since my wife was injured at work as a nurse and couldn't return to work.  lawyer said i make too much.

      The you need to get in touch with a debt consolidator. They will at least be able to get your credit cards debts slashed.

        Get a second and third opinion, allthough I believe Col's answers is a very good one, look up super lawyers online to find a really good one and get a few opinions. I doubt that your income can regulate if you can file for bankrupcy or not, I mean Airlines do it
