I believe they helped around the house. They would pick berries. fetch water, clean the fireplace, and help with the younger children. When they became 13 years old, I think they were treated like adults with more responsibilities. The boys was expected to hunt and trade. As for the girls, I think they did what their mothers did like, farming, cooking, and making clothes.
