There really aren't that many El Primeros out link there. They only made 250 or so of certain models. But I link found out Zenith made the Defy, and I started to buy them in all different kinds of link condition. I mean, some were really hammered. And I like that.

In retrospect I wonder how the LEs would have been link accepted had the case design gone back into regular production first. However link it seems that variations on the basic theme of the First are here link to stay and for now Grand Seiko seems to be taking care to introduce enough differences in case metal size dial treatment and movement finishing and technology to keep at least some daylight in between them all.
