    Weight measures how heavy something is 
     Force / Acceleration = Mass   OR  Mass is the amount of space something takes.

    Mass is the amount of matter contained in the body


    But the weight is the force by which the earth attracts the body towards itself


    i.e. Weight = Force of gravity = mass × acceleration due to gravity.
