I looked up the site you gave and I am astonished at to what it says. In the UK Flu vaccines are only given to vunerable people i.e. The over 65 yr olds, people with heart disease, respiratory problems, immuno- defiency, diabetes etc. or any other health problems not to students and the general population. It is also staff working in health centres, Doctors Surgeries or hospitals. I have answered this issue extensively with Colleen(totally at cross purposes) and now understand it better as the criteria is obviously so very different between the USA and UK for giving these vaccines.I will end comment here.
Im sure it is, with the popularity and cheap air fares I think a lot of illness are on the increase, there is also the fact that employers have little sympathy and flu etc is rife and spreading in the workplace as we are often unable to take time off, so go on spreading flu around.Tuberculosis is also on the increase, and that is one of the diseases I thought was long gone.whooping cough is another one, and so the list continues to grow......
