    Should a Pastor counsel a married woman by herself or have her husband prsent too?

    No as it could cause confusion in the marriage. Husband should also be present.

    First counsel alone, then with the husband, then the husband without the wife.

    Counselling is considered personal,if you don't feel it is appropriate for your husband to be present,well don't include him.If on the other hand you feel it could benefit both of you ,then let him join in.

    i don't see the harm with a one on one counciling session ,most pastors are concerned with peoples well being,if your husband is the jelous type than so be it at least your showing initave that you want thing to work .. all the better he he wants to join in.

    It really depends on the churcu and the relationship the pastor has with both parties. The wife may need private conseling. And it would be inappropriate to have the husband present. I have been in churches that are very stict on the subject. If that was the case a respected woman of the church would sit in.
