    i have a toshiba laptop and a dell laptop. i have windows vista recovery disk for my dell, but i need windows os to reinstall on my toshiba. can i use the disk for the dell on my toshiba or not?

    my boot manager went missing so i downloaded a windows 32 bit recovery disk off the internet, but when i ran it, the computer asks what operating system do i want to use, the only problem is there wasn't an os listed. what do i do?

    No. The Windows operating system cannot be put on both systems. If you do not wish to purchase a new operating system, may I suggest you try Linux Ubuntu. It is free and works well, does not require an anti-virus program and can be downloaded from the web. It downloads and you burn it to a disc or usb flash drive, then you can load it to your computer or run it from the disc.
