      years ago they used it to put you to sleep for an operation. Now I think they use it to start a car. you spray it in the carbeuator, if you have a car that has one-or maybe a lawnmower. its very flammable.

        Ether is the name of a group of compounds that have a Carbon group on both sides of an oxygen atom, examples:


        Ch3--O--CH3


        CH3CH2--O--CH2CH3


        Therefore there are hundreds of molecules of "ether".  Each one have specific properties. Some are poisons, some are medicines, some...put you to sleep.
