I'm  studying for an exam to become a RMA, I discussed this with my manager and she talk with her boss , who was excited and gave the OK, and said keep my receipts for my books to get reimbursed, yet during this same time college students were coming through for their clinical s for RMA as well. MY manager became interested in one of the students and proceeded to make a way to hire her, she had a meeting with all the nurses and myself and pretty much made it clear she wanted to hire this student, so I reminded her about what I'm doing, to no avail her mind was made up, i didn't take it personally, but it did hurt how it was put out there and how the nurses didn't think of me , as being capable of being considered to take a class to grow.
