    Can a child with aspergers sydrome and being half deaf qualify for social security disability

    Son was diagnosed with autism at age three and recently diagnosed as half deaf.

    Most likely. Contact Social Security Administration. The hearing problem would excascerbate the autism, making it harder for the child to learn.

    If you are in S. California, contact your local Regional Center.  They have Social Workers to help you with the paper work.  Apart from applying for Disability Allowance for you, they can arrange special training to meet your child's needs like Adaptive Skill Training.
