I would send them a certified return receipt letter stating that policy number what ever your policy number is and my name and info that you want it cancelled effective and put the date you want it to become effective and that you no longer wish to do business with them. This way you will have a card coming back to you showing that they had to sign and receipt for your letter that you sent to them. Be sure and keep copies of everything.
