To download a picture from your camera to your computer you first need to connect the camera to the computer using a USB cable you usually get with the camera. After the camera has connected to your computer a window will usually appear and you will be asked if you want to download pictures and/videos from your camera. Click on the relevant option and then choose “OK” or “Continue” depending on your operating system. If such window does not appear go “your computer” (XP) or “computer” (vista) there you’ll see your camera Icon and you’ll be able to double click it with the left mouse button to get the option to download pictures to your computer.
