Is it possibly for a deep cycly storage battery to reverse polarity on its own ? even if fully disccarged?

The batterys in question are mounted in a sailboat. Two are used for house batterys and one is the starting battery for a small diesel engine. All batteries are less then one year old and mounted as the original ones they replaced. the two house batteries are charged by a 15watt solor pannel. the engine alternator charges the other battery.

Hm...I have never heard of batteries changing polarity. Perhaps you can Google it and see if this is a common occurence under certain circumstances. Just out of curiousity, I think I will google it also.
