Why should human beings stop developing Industry and striving to make life more comfortable? Isn't that our nature?
Everything on this planet is natural. Animals act as nature evolved them to act; Human beings are animals and part of nature. So just as lions kill and eat deer and sparrows make nests in bushes and eat bugs, so human beings do all the things that human beings do as a matter of nature. Including building cities and cars and planes (and whatever comes next) and burning fossil fuels and using energy and resources. So why should we have to give up doing that to satisfy some Greenie fantasy that we are somehow outside of nature and destroying it?
