A diver found coins at the bottom of the ocean. All the coins were reported to be real except one that was extremely old and very worn, but the date was somewhat visibly marked 325 B.C. Why did he not trust the coin to be authentic?

    Guessing.

B.C. did not come into being until after Christ. They would not have used B.C. in the marking of the coin since they would not have known of Christ.

This was a joke/riddle. No controversy.

Do you really know he did not? Eggplant I am also trying to work it out - why did he not get it checked out?

Does any body know what's going to happen in 325 years from now?

""Dunno, I'm tryin' to work it out.

They did not use coins in 325 B.C.   They either used real gold to trade, or they bartered.

She wins hands down here. I'll get her at about 2:00 a.m. her time.

Colleen's answer was the correct answer, and the proper deductive reason. Good going girl!

by the way aren't you the person who made that other riddle and someone said keep it coming

i think that it said copy on it and was dropped in the ocean      and the word copy faded away.
