The percentage is the numerator.  100 is the denominator.  Reduce if you can.
    Example 86% = 86/100 = 43/50  Decimally  86% is .86
    Example 23% = 23/100  Decimally 23% is .23
    Example 10% = 10/100 = 1/10   Decimally 10% is .10   (or .1)

A percentage is based on 100 parts equalling 1.
1.00 is the same as 1.  This is called 100%
.10 is 10 of the 100 parts needed to make 1.  This is called 10%
.01 is 1 of the 100 parts needed to make 1.  This is called 1%

Tips - Percentage are the fraction with its denominator only 100.

So, Converting any percentage into fraction, we have to divide it by 100.

    For example,

    46% = 46/100

Now share the idea with your friends.

take the decimal from the end of the number and move it two places to the left. Ex. 50%= 0.50
