Depends on the kid.  How mature they are and if they are self assured. Unfortunately, kids aren't raised that way anymore and the media will affect them greatly as long as it's done cartoon wise and advertises Cheetos. ......

Still that's a pretty good run for an insatiable dipsomaniacal science link toy. Like the Atmos clock Drinky Bird is not a perpetual motion machine but as long as there is some external energy source and water it will bob happily or unhappily we will never know through the long link slow endless march of the eons to the heat death of the link universe.
