being in a coma is  worse than unconscious. most people who are in a coma has a 50-50 chance of surviving while an unconscious person more chance of surviving. they say a person in coma has the ability to hear and feel also even though he's body is literally dead.

I thought a coma was a prolonged state of unconsciousness.
