I was watching your video on preparing your soil for the seeds but you added unknown items to the potting soil you made that I can't seem to locate on your website.
Thanks for any info~ I have a totally black thumb and out of 21 bush bean plants, I got 1 small bush bean to grow and it was only about 14 inches. Our tomatoes didn't fair much better. Our potatoes produced about 6 marble sized potatoes with 1 normal sized potato and that was out of two barrels.
and about 5 pounds of potato seeds (potato starts) from the nursery!
We need help. We're old too, so we don't do anything big.

Add half potting soil and half river sand. That way, the potting soil won't pack down and your plants will be able to breath. Also add water crystals to the mix, it will help hold moisture and stop the pot from drying out. Make sure your potting soil is a good quality one. The cheaper ones are bad for your plants and will need replacing in one year.
