Conversion of fraction into decimal is a very easy process.

But you should know the simple division rule for this conversion.

So, first know the simple division process.

But there are also some tricks used for 10's multiple like 10, 100, 1000,etc. which is shown below:

For example, 1/10 = 0.1 [ Moving decimal one point backward as there is only one zero in 10]

Similarly,  1/100 = 0.01 [ Moving decimal two point backward as there is two zeroes in 100]

Like, 1/1000 = 0.001 [ Moving decimal three point backward as there is three zeroes in 1000]

    Other examples are 59/100 = 0.59 , 66/1000 = 0.066 ,etc.

One simple trick for the conversion of simple fraction is solved below:

For example, a fraction 2/5 is equal to 0.4 in decimal,

To get the answer you can use the following steps.

    2/5

    = [10 - 8]  / 5

    =10/5 - 8 / 5

    =  2 - 1.6

    = 0.4

Note: Above tricks need the basis of "Fundamental Math's Division rule".

Hope this has helped you to some extent. Now share the ideas with your friends & search the other related problems for the perfection.
