        Let us see the solution for this problem.


        12 = 2 × 2 × 3


        18 = 2 × 3 × 3


        So, H.C.F = 2 × 3 = 6 & the remaining factors = 2 × 3 = 6


        Hence, L.C.M.  = H.C.F × remaining factors = 6 × 6 = 36
