        Digger, I can't believe it.  Do you know what it means?  That means it's someone's homework.   I don't think it's right for us to do someone's homework.  Do you?

          Of course it's a homework question. They get asked all the time here. I was merely saying that the elasticity terms are genuine economic terms and not a typo or misuse, as you suggested.
          He DID mean "elastic" not "scholastic".
          Now I'M chuckling ;-)

          Scog, Hi.  I am laughing with delight at your question.  Do you mean Scholastic and  Interscholastic?  Webster's says:  scholastic: adj.  of schools,  colleges, students, etc.; educational; academic.  Interscholastic means between or among schools.   OR is there really such a thing as elastic and inelastic?
