Old is relative to the age of the person asking..or thinking, I remember saying when I was about 17 "I hope I don't  live to be 40" I'd hate being old!!...well that has been and gone and now my thoughts on old are a whole lot different

The age at which one is called old cannot be defined precisely because the definition of old is not the same in every society. People may be considered old once they become grandparents or when they become less active than they used to be.

Call me old when lam dead.

 I can remember some 25 years ago {back when I was a little dumber} in our little tavern, dancing raising he!! drinking like it was going out of style, jukebox up as loud as it could go. but in a corner was an older couple quietly drinking a few beers and having a snack. We were all amused and laughed at the old people.  Some 25 years later in that same little tavern my wife and I were sitting at that same corner table, having a couple beers and getting ready to call it a night. Before we left the joint was rocking. jukebox loud kids dancing and just having a good time. I jabbed my wife and said do you remember watching them old people and laughing at them? WELL now were those old people!!!!!!!!!!!
