      Panic attacks or the start of menopause. See a doctor to know for sure.

        55 is late for the start of Menopause, but it can happen. I agree with Colleen. This is definitely a problem that requires a trip to the doctor.

          i am with Colleen and itsmee... see a dr. My mother-inlaw did the same thing when she started menopause... But being your heart is involed, better safe than sorry.
