    The contractor that refurbished the home did it now the neighbors want the fence replaced

      I don't blame them,i would want my fence put back too.You had the work carried out on your property,so you are responsible to replace the fence pailing.Don't you agree ?

        You are if your contractor removed the fence. You might also consider the liability you might incur if someone got into the pool because of the fence being down.
