TV's today come with only so many hours of life. I believe the better quality ones are 60,000 hours. It goes down from there the cheaper you pay. So, you might want to conserve on the hours it runs to make it last longer. If you're only walking away for a few minutes. leave it running. If you're going to be gone a half hour or more, shut it off.
